ABOUT US
The Local Trans Bees was started by Theo, an 19 year old trans man. Surrounded by an unaccepting community and experiencing prejudice himself, he wanted to create a safe space for trans folks like himself. Thus, The Local Trans Bees was born. He recognized that a part of the issue of today was lack of education. Growing up, he never had a place to research trans identities, especially since it was taboo where he lived. He wants to help trans people and allies learn about the trans community while also creating a safe place for those that need. The entire platform is run by trans people. There are plans for the future to hopefully make this project more impactful.
